Kavya Nivarthy ’25 hails from Florham Park, NJ and majors in Economics and Chinese language at Dartmouth. At Dartmouth, Kavya is a Captain of the Mock Trial Team, serves as Vice President of Advancement of The Dartmouth Political Union, writes in the Opinion column of The Dartmouth, and is a Dartmouth Economics Research Scholar. She was a 2022 Rockefeller Center First-Year Fellow, where she worked on midterm election campaigns at a political strategy firm in Washington D.C., and later worked as a policy intern on the Hill, where she conducted U.S.-China trade policy. Kavya is fluent in Chinese, enjoys discussing current events, and is interested in the intersections between economics and law. She plans to attend law school after Dartmouth.
