
Nico D’Orazio ’28 plans on double-majoring in Government and Hispanic Studies and minoring in Education. At Dartmouth, Nico is aWar and Peace Fellow and Student Manager for the Great Issues Scholars program, connecting first-year students to discussions and speakers in various fields of international politics. He also volunteers as a teacher’s assistant at Norwich, VT’s local elementary school through the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact’s TEACH program. Further, on campus, Nico serves as an Ambassador for Dartmouth Civics as well as for Free the Facts. This summer, Nico served as an Effective Practice Intern at the National Head Start Association, ensuring alignment with state law and evidence-based professional development opportunities for Head Start educators. Previously, Nico worked with the Montgomery County Public Schools district as an Education Policy Apprentice.
